Hi, I’m Dave Furmidge, a Lead Systems Engineer based in Manchester, UK. With over 25 years of experience across software development, databases, and DevOps, I bring a broad and adaptable skill set to complex engineering challenges.

My background includes deep expertise in relational databases and SQL, hands-on development with .NET and Python, and extensive work in CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure. I’m a quick learner and thrive on solving problems end-to-end—from code to deployment.

I’m certified across all three major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud), and I hold UK Government SC Clearance, enabling me to work on sensitive and high-trust projects.
